Event Helps with Emergency Preparedness Plans

Editor's note: The following information is taken from a press release from the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Ozaukee County.

On April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Saukville American Legion Hall, 601 W. Dekora Street, representatives from the Ozaukee County Public Health Department and the American Red Cross-West Bend Chapter will share information on how to build a personalized emergency preparedness kit as part of National Emergency Preparedness month. 

Sponsored by the Washington County and Ozaukee County Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRC) and the Washington/Ozaukee Advocacy Steering Committee, the presentation will also provide information on how these two counties are preparing for emergencies and disasters.   

Helpful resource materials as well as door prizes and refreshments will be available.
