Inmate Smuggles Pills into Ozaukee County Jail Cell
The 27-year-old Port Washington woman had been hiding the pills in a tin full of coffee after sneaking them into the jail "in a plastic wrap inside her crotch area."

An inmate at the Ozaukee County Jail faces additional charges after being caught with pills that she had smuggled into the jail and was hiding in a cocoa butter container also filled with coffee.
Leslie Kesterson, 27, of Port Washington, was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with possession of a controlled substance on Friday and faces an additional 30 days in jail and $500 in fines for the smuggling incident. The criminal complaint does not say why she was in jail, but according to the Wisconsin Court System Circuit Court Access website she was found guilty in July of two counts of manufacturing/deliver THC.
A jailer told officers on March 26 that Kesterson had been observed hiding pills in a container in her cell, according to the criminal complaint. The officer responded to the cell to search Kesterson's drawer, and found a cocoa butter container filled with coffee.

Also inside was a metal pencil sharpener, and two pills, according to the complaint. Officers were able to identify the pills as Clonazepam.
Kesterson told officers she was suffering from a lot of anxiety and depression and that is why she wanted the pills, the complaint said. She smuggled them into the jail "in a plastic wrap inside her crotch area."
