Laid Back Basset Hound-Pointer Mix Pups Sniffing Around for Loving Home

Patch and the Ozaukee County Humane Society-Saukville Campus will feature a pet that could be yours every week.

The Ozaukee County Humane Society-Saukville Campus has plenty of pets that are looking for a home. Available pets are showcased on the society's website, and Patch will feature the critters every week.

This week features Little Girl and Hope, both 4-month-old female basset hound/pointer mixes with a contagious zest for life. Both go home with you spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.

The society is also hosting a Dog Behavior Seminar at the Saukville campus from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. There is a $10 registration fee, and you can register on the society's website. The seminar will cover dog body language, working with behavior challenges, training a puppy, enrichment, nutrition and more. Information about other upcoming cat, dog and small animal behavior seminars is also available on the site.
