More Stolen Items Reported in Port

Port Washington police have no suspects for items taken from yard, locked van.

Port Washington police received two reports of theft on Tuesday, and no suspects have been found in connection with the missing items.

A 46-year-old Port Washington woman in the 1600 block of Parkway Drive reported that a two-foot panda statue had been stolen from her front yard at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday.

At 8:34 a.m. Tuesday, police also responded to a report from a 48-year-old Port man who said hand and power tools had been taken from his locked work van in the 400 block of West Grand Avenue.

These thefts come just more than 10 days after a , parked in driveways.

People with information about these crimes should notify police and will remain anonymous by calling (262) 268-7682. Messages left on the hot-line are checked regularly throughout the day, and callers providing tips leading to arrests will be eligible for a $50 reward.
