Photos: Residents Hop On Board for Port Fire Open House

The Port Washington Fire Department held an open house on Sunday, with free firetruck rides, a pancake breakfast and more.

People poured into the for it's open house event on Sunday.

The day began with a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. and also featured fire truck rides and a scuba diver in a tank whom visitors could speak to via an underwater microphone. Firefighters also performed a demonstration of how they respond to a car crash, using the Jaws of Life to open the vehicle and extract the patients.
