Port Washington Police Report: Make That Pitcher of Beer to Go
A roundup of the latest activity from the police blotter includes a minor's attempt to take his beverage elsewhere.

Apparently, this underager doesn't quite know the rules, but at least it gave Port Washington police a chance to teach him a thing or two about bar etiquette.
It was 12:44 a.m. Saturday when police noticed the 20-year-old Port man leaving (strike one), holding a pitcher of beer (strike two).
He was subsequently cited for underage alcohol consumption and underage person on a licensed premise.

More from the latest police reports:
- She's mine? It's always heartbreaking to deal with a shattered marriage, but becoming one of those broken statistics was apparently too much for this 31-year-old Port man to handle. Rather than love notes, the man now spends his time sending harassing text messages to his estranged wife's new boyfriend. After viewing the texts, police cited the man for disorderly conduct.
- Dinner's on me: You get what you pay for, and if you don't pay for it ... you get it anyway? That was the apparent theory of a 17-year-old Port girl who tried the classic "dine and dash" trick while eating at at 1:43 p.m. July 19. The bill totaled $39.04. Police found the woman, and she was cited for theft.
