Saukville Police Report: Stop at McDonald's Ends in OWI for Driver
A roundup of activity from the recent police blotter.

It's a common occurrence — every weekend night about 2:30 a.m. a number of fast food restaurants get a spur of activity from bar patrons looking for a snack.
But, hopefully, must of those intoxicated patrons aren't driving themselves.
Unfortunately, this one was.

More from the reports:
- Does anybody have a license to drive? Friends usually come together because of similar interests and hobbies, but does that include the inability to legally drive a car? Saukville police stopped a vehicle at 8:23 p.m. Oct. 7 on Interstate 43 because the owner was listed as having a suspended license. A different person, a 20-year-old Kiel man, was driving, however — but he also did not have a valid driver's license. He was arrested and a request for charges for operating without a valid operator's license was sent to the District Attorney's office. Meanwhile, none of the four passengers in the car, one of whom was the owner, had a valid license. They called for a ride.
- Did he leave teeth marks? Kids can get out of control, but this is just downright bad behavior. Police responded to a call of a juvenile that was kicking and biting his mother at 8:21 p.m. Oct. 10. Upon arriving at the home, police learned the 15-year-old boy became angry because he was being disciplined for following house rules, but he chose to also ignore the discipline. The boy was arrested and taken to Washington County jail.
