Sheboyganβs Mead Public Library will host a free presentation on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) in conjunction with SCORE Southeast Wisconsin and the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday evening, November 13.Β Β The two-hour presentation will be held in the Rocca Room of the Mead Library at 710 N. 8th St.
Designed to help small businesses understand the new federal law, the event includes presentation s by Mike Fazio of the Wisconsin district of the U.S. Small Business Administration, Daren Allen, vice president of Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative, insurance agentΒ Tim Lorenz, Jose L. Araujo, program director at Partners for Community Development and will be moderated by SCORE certified mentor Richard Cramer.
According to David Maaske, SCORE SE Wisconsin Chapter chairman, the seminar is tailored for Β businesses with 50 or fewer employees and will include latest updates from federal agencies, e-tips, templates, links and calculation models.Β There will be a question and answer session to address specific concernsΒ at the end of the formal presentations.
