Take 2 of Community Street Fest Scheduled

Port Washington Community Street Festival organizers have set a new date to f just barely halfway through because of thunder and lightning.

The fourth annual Community Street Festival will go on again from 12 to 5 p.m. July 3, in the same location (downtown Port) with the same and maybe even more vendors involved, according to Port Washington Main Street Executive Director Sara Grover.

The same bands that came to take one of the event will also be at the July 3 festival, as well as the Disney princesses, Grover said. The original festival was May 29.
