51 Shorewood Runners Finish Lakefront Marathon

Shorewood runner Joe Hamann led a group of local runners, finishing 77 in a field of 2,112 in Sunday's 32st annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon.

Paul Zdroik of Watertown (2:27:08) and Zachary Meineke of Wauwatosa (2:29:37) finished first and second in the marathon, while Hamann was clocked with a finish time of 3:05:10. Ryan Giuliano of Schaumburg, IL finished third at 2:29:59. The race route runs from Grafton High School to Veterans' Park.

Along with Hamann, 50 Shorewood runners finished Sunday’s race including Erik Timmerman at 120 with a time of 3:13:12, Kelly Ryan finishing 126 clocked at 3:13:51 and Rick Donner at 134 with a time of 3:14:30.
