Have You Seen This?: Shorewood Shines on YouTube

The flavor and spirit of Shorewood come through on YouTube, the popular website for video uploads. Here’s a sampling of what people have uploaded over the last month:

Did you miss the bike race tearing through the village. There is plenty of footage from various uses, including OVERMILWAUKEE with a lengthy recap, aaschiller chronicling a young boy’s first Kids Roll, the bikers roaring through a turn and another look at them flying past PNC Bank.

User OVERMILWAUKEE also captured the sights and sounds of the opening of the Estabrook Park Beer Garden, which has been a popular spot since its opening.

Shorewood High School’s renowned drama department ”, and user MitchLackey uploaded video from the number “Strongest Suit.” 

If you’re more into collisions than dance numbers, see highlights from the Shorewood Monarchs in the Ironman Football League. The team defeated the Southern Lakes Blue Devils 18-13 at Hart Park in Wauwatosa on June 10, and there are extensive action clips from the first half and the second half.
