Hubbard Park Invasive Species Removal: DPW Looks For Volunteers

The Shorewood DPW is hosting a brush chipping and invasive species removal event at Hubbard Park on March 26, the village said.

SHOREWOOD, WI β€” The Shorewood Department of Public Works and Marek Landscaping plan on hosting an event at Hubbard Park on March 26 to remove invasive species and chip brush, the Village of Shorewood announced in a Facebook post Friday.

Volunteers are being sought for the event, which begins at 10 a.m. that day, the post says. The help would be along the Riparian Trail, and volunteers should bring gloves, boots and protective eyewear.

The post says questions on the event can be directed to the DPW at 414-847-2650.
