Tour Of America's Dairyland Announces 2022 Shorewood Bike Race

Registration for the race begins in mid-March, the Tour announced alongside the 11 locations it plans on hosting races this June.

SHOREWOOD, WI β€” The Tour of America's Dairyland, an 11-day road cycling racing series that comes to communities across southeastern Wisconsin, announced the date for the Shorewood race.

Over 1000 pro and amateur riders, many from across the country, come out each year to participate in the 11 days of racing. ToAD is scheduled to come to Shorewood on June 24, according to the group's website. Registration for the event is expected to begin in mid-March.

The race came to Shorewood in 2021 in June when groups of kids, women and men took off on laps around the village on bicycles.

The race is also scheduled to come to Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's east side on June 25, and several other dates for communities across the region have yet to be announced.
