The police department has updated its complaint procedures to encourage citizens to provide feedback on interactions with members of the department and to simplify the process in general.

A newly designed βCitizen Comments, Complaints, and Complimentsβ form has been created along with a redesigned brochure that explains the process for submitting a complaint.
Both forms are now available in Spanish, Hmong, and Russian. Members of the public can obtain the forms online, or as a paper copy at the police station, the Shorewood Library, and at Village Hall.

Comments, complaints, and compliments can also be delivered by phone, e-mail, or dropped off at the white mailbox behind Village Hall.
