Enabling Better Places: A User’s Guide to Neighborhood Affordability was created through a partnership with the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU). The League teamed up with the following organizations to help fund creation of the Guide: Wisconsin Realtors Association, Wisconsin Builders Association, AARP-Wisconsin, Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), and NAIOP Wisconsin.  Â
This guide is released at a great time as Shorewood embarks on our Commercial Zoning Code Update of the Capital Drive/Oakland corridors and our discussion on how to utilize TID 1 extension funds for affordable housing continues.Â
