Waxwing Gallery Celebrates First Anniversary
Owner Steph Davies wanted to provide artists with a place to sell their work. Now, she's celebrating her first year of having the Shorewood shop by hosting a party.
Shorewood's Waxwing, an artist consignment shop that features the work of 90 local artists, will host their one year anniversary party from 6 to 9 p.m. March 15 at their store, located at 4415 North Oakland Avenue.
Local artist Steph Davies owns the shop. She wanted to meet more artists and provide a space where their work would get more exposure.
The art opening will feature artwork by Kelli Busch, Dan Atkinson and Annie Sweers as well as live music by Thriftones.
