When Does School Start in Shorewood?
The day after Labor Day — Tuesday, Sept. 4 — finds all students back in the classroom to begin another year. Find your local school calendars and registration dates here.
Labor Day marks the true end of summer in 2012, as all local school districts welcome students for the first day on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Registration for students will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Aug. 9 and 10 in the high school arena, 1701 E. Capitol Dr.

If a student is unable to register on either of those days, they can come to the administration lobby on Aug. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A freshmen, new students, and new parents orientation will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 15.

Seventh grade students at can register in the school's main office, 3830 N. Morris Blvd., on Aug. 9 from 3 to 7 p.m. and new eighth graders on Aug. 10 from noon to 5 p.m.
students may register from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 21 and 1 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 22. The school is located at 1600 E. Lake Bluff Blvd.
The dates and times for registration are the same for students at , 2100 E. Capitol Dr.
