Hamilton Boys & Girls Basketball Moving Closer to State Titles

The girl Chargers are facing Waukesha West in regionals while the boys are on to sectionals versus the undefeated Germantown boys.

Both the boys and girls teams at have proven themselves this basketball season, but this Thursday and Friday will truly be judgement days.

The boys team (13-11) is facing off against the undefeated Germantown team (24-0) at Waukesha North High School at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. And this game certainly won't be a cakewalk for the Chargers as Germantown took down Menomonee Falls on Saturday 84-47.

The winning team will be up against either De Pere (23-1) or Sheboygan North (21-3) in the state semi-finals.

Also, with the under their belts, the girls basketball team at Hamilton (17-5) is on to regionals versus Waukesha West (9-13). The two teams will go head-to-head on Friday at 7 p.m. at Hamilton High School.

The last time these teams faced off was on Feb. 27, but the Chargers lost by a hair, 25-27. The winning team will be up against Nicolet High School (19-3) in the sectional playoffs.
