Hamilton Girls Competing for First Conference Title in History

The girls varsity basketball team could make history this season, but the first have to take on Divine Savior Holy Angels Thursday night.

Hamilton High School's girls varsity basketball team is competing for its first conference championship this Thursday, and the students are looking to fill the stands.

In their first chance at a conference title in school history, the girls compete at 7:30 p.m. at  against Divine Savior Holy Angels.

The Chargers have only lost two games (11-2) in their conference this season, first against DSHA on Jan. 24 (44-36), and then against West Allis Central on Jan. 27 (42-41). DSHA also is 11-2 in the Greater Metro Conference, so Thursday's winner takes the championship alone.
