In the past two weeks, Sussex police have made more than 130 traffic stops usually resulting in a citation, and certain locations are pretty popular on the list. All the major roads in Sussex seem to top the list, with specific intersections where police stakeout for speed-demons and unruly drivers. There are two intersections on Main Street, as well as two on Silver Spring Drive that see a lot of police action. In addition, the intersection near the Sussex Corporate Center is on the list often. The top five areas listed are: <ul> <li>Main Street and Locust Street</li> <li>Highway 164 and Lisbon Road</li> <li>Main Street and Pewaukee Road</li> <li>Silver Spring Drive and Hickory Drive</li> <li>Silver Spring Drive and Sussex Road</li> </ul> Surprisingly enough, while some drivers are occasionally pulled over on Waukesha Avenue, it doesn't happen as often as you would think.
