Money Smart Week Sparks Slew of Events at Library
The Pauline Haass Public Library is slated to hold a handful of events next week in honor of National Money Smart Week. Speakers will talk about everything from identity theft to buying a home.

Next week is National Money Smart Week, and the offer several speaker events on topics ranging from living on a budget to buying a home.
On Monday, April 23rd at 7 p.m., Candy Walecki of will discuss financial fraud, identity theft, and investment scams. Stephanie Moeller of North Shore Bank will give a presentation on home buying, including information about mortgages and foreclosures on Tuesday, April 24th at 7 p.m.
Also, on Wednesday, April 25th at 6 p.m., Kathryn Crumpton of Consumer Credit Counseling Service will offer helpful financial tips for surviving in challenging times.

Money Smart Week is a nationwide event sponsored by the Federal Reserve in order to promote financial literacy. All events will be held at the library, and no registration is required.
