Running from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., this annual community event is all about the live music, burgers, brats and making a change in the community. In honor of Older Americans Month, Sussex is making a push for more events for seniors, and all of the proceeds from Rock-A-Thon will go toward recreation funding.

“The money we raise helps fund our senior programing," said Parks & Recreation Director Amy Flaherty. "The event is really laid back, but we also physically have rocking chairs out on the lawn so people can ‘rock’ while waving to drivers on Main Street.”

For $4, people get a freshly grilled burger or brat, chips, pickle and a drink all while enjoying live music from area favorite Dante’s Bop, a southern soul and country band.
