Satisfy Youthful Curiosity at 'Touch a Truck' Event

Bring a non-perishable food item to the event to help Sussex Outreach Services assist the needy in a time of scarcity at the food pantry.

What young child doesn't like big trucks? And what child doesn't have an insatiable curiosity and propensity to get their hands on everything?

Satisfy those youthful tendencies by bringing your child to the "Touch a Truck" event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Pauline Haass Library on Main Street in Sussex.

Kids can climb in the trucks, sit behind the wheel, and meet the men and women who operate the massive machines. The event is also a great chance to support the food pantry operated by Sussex Outreach Services. Bring a non-perishable food item to the event Wednesday and help fill D. F. Tomasini’s front end loader with food.

The event is free to the public. For more information, contact the Youth Services Department at (262) 246-5182
