Have a passion for community events, and are you totally behind the idea of a Sussex farmers market? The  would like to spark a new interest in a .

The group will begin operating for charitable, educational and benevolent purposes. Some of the goals of this organization may include fundraising for the , organizing and running a , enhancing the park system, adding to the community special events offered and supporting recreational programs.

Public Works Committee Meeting

The Public Works Committee is meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the lower level of  to go over various items on their agenda. During this meeting, the Villas of Brandon Oaks is requesting to take ownership of their roads, among other topics of discussion. 

Finance & Personnel Committe Meeting

Sussex's Finance & Personnel Committee is meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Village Hall's lower leve. This meeting will be directly after the Public Works meeting, and similarly, the agenda is posted on the village's website. Duirng this meeting, the committee will be talking about various items like Rumors Bar & Grill's new manager and the village's investment reports. 

Outdoor Movie Night

Sussex's annual at is here again, this time featuring the new animated family favorite Puss in Boots. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 10 starting at 7 p.m.

Located right behind  and the , the event at the park will be kicked off by music and family games. The movie is slated to begin at 8 p.m., and really, what sounds better than watching a movie under some Sussex stars?
