Sussex Week Ahead: Primary Election

This is a list of things to do and places to be this week in Sussex.

Parks and Rec Board Meeting

The Parks and Recreation board will be meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the Sussex Community Center. Some of the items on the agenda include the contract for Lion's Daze and what they plan to do with Madeline Park. The meeting is open to the public, so residents are encouraged to attend.

Hamilton School Board Meeting

The Hamilton School District will be holding a school board meeting at Hamilton High School's library at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The meeting is open to the public, so any residents interested in sharing something with the board or learning about the district first-hand is encouraged to attend.

Primary Election

Three candidates are facing off to fill the seat as Lake Country Municipal judge, and it's up to residents to vote on Tuesday at the National Guard Armory. Peter Wolff, Timothy Kay and Daniel Fay are on Tuesday's ballot, and only two candidates will advance to the April 3 municipal elections. There are 17 communities voting in this primary election.
