103 Half-Marathon Runners Attempt to Break Guinness World Record
More than $30,000 was raised during the Trailbreaker Marathon for LifeStriders, an organization that works with special needs.
A team of 103 runners were roped together last weekend to complete a half marathon during the Waukesha Trailbreaker in their attempts to be in the Guinness World Records.
The world record attempt is currently going through the verification process, although they exceeded the previous record by about 30 people, according to organizer Robin Gohsman.
The group raised more than $30,000 for LifeStriders, an organization working special needs.
