Bystanders Give CPR After Teen Pulled From Water At Menomonee Park
A 14-year-old regained a pulse after being pulled from the water at Menomonee County Park Thursday evening, authorites said.
MENOMONEE FALLS, WI — A 14-year-old was pulled from the water at Menomonee County Park Thursday evening but regained a pulse after bystanders gave CPR and first responders arrived, the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
Authorites were called out around 7 p.m. When officers got there, bystanders had already pulled the 14-year-old from the water, but the teen was unresponsive, according to the news release. Eventually the teen's pulse came back and first responders brought them to a hospital via ambulance and flight for life, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office thanked bystanders for their performing the life-saving measures.

Personnel from the parks department and the Menomonee Falls Fire Department also helped in the incident, the sheriff's office said.
