WAUKESHA, WI — A 13-year-old Waukesha girl escaped with her life after her bicycle became stuck on the train tracks at West and Progress avenues as a train approached, The Waukesha County Freeman reported.

Delilah McMillan said her back tire got stuck in the tracks last Tuesday, causing her to fall and momentarily get her foot stuck, she told the outlet.

"After I pulled out my foot, I tried to grab my bike, but the train was coming, and I pulled back just in time to not get hit by the train, but my bike got destroyed," she said.
