County Supervisor Zimmerman Not Seeking Re-election
Dave Zimmerman has been a supervisor for 8 years.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—Dave Zimmerman, a Waukesha County Supervisor, said Tuesday he would not seek another term.
"It was a very difficult decision to make, but I have decided not to run for re-election for this upcoming term. Due to increasing time constraints, I have decided to step back from public service at this time," Zimmerman said in a statement.
Zimmerman was elected as supervisor for District 2 in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2020.

"I am thankful for the opportunity to have served the constituents of District 2 for the past 8 years. It has truly been a privilege and an honor. I have met so many wonderful residents along the way, and I have always been impressed and motived by the devotion to our Lake Country community," he said.
On Friday, Duane Paulson, who served as Waukesha County Supervisor for 24 years, announced his decision to not run for re-election.

Kathleen Cummings, former alderman and county supervisor abruptly resigned as a Waukesha County Supervisor and alderman after serving for over 20 years. She was charged with seven felonies after investigators found she was using two different addresses, according to online court documents and a criminal complaint.
