Driver Pulls Gun On Stranger Informing Him Of Bad Tail Light: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — A driver pointed a handgun at a person who approached them to tell them their SUV's tail light was out in the 200 block of Sunset Drive Monday evening, according to Waukesha police logs.
The caller told police around 10 p.m. that day they noticed the burnt-out tail light so they walked up, but the driver told them to "back up" and pulled a small handgun, Waukesha logs said. After the encounter, police were dispatched to check several areas but nobody was immediately arrested, logs said.

Thursday
A fire was reported early Thursday morning a ProHealth Waukesha parking garage, 725 American Avenue, police logs said. Fire was reported on the garage's top and fifth floor, but security could not find any flames and it seemed like there was something electrical.

Any fire appeared to be out by 5:32 a.m. and police logs said the fire department will have to determine if it was intentionally set. More information was not immediately available from police.
Monday
After a caller told police that two kids had just broken some glass bottles in the street Monday around 4 p.m. in the 1400 block of Greenway Terrace, one of the kids told police he smashed them because he wanted the beads inside, according to logs.
Police gave the kid, who was about 13 years old, the choice between a littering ticket and cleaning the glass up, according to logs. He chose the second option, so police helped him clean up and then escorted him home.
Saturday
A vehicle crashed into a pole in the 1500 block of Jefferson Avenue, a caller told police just before 7 a.m. on Saturday. Witnesses said the pole came down and the driver ran away, according to police logs.
When the pole came down, wires began to block traffic, according to police logs. One witness told police the driver was bleeding from the mouth, logs said. We Energies was called following the incident.
Friday
A house's back porch caught fire in the 1900 block of Wall Street Friday around 3:30 p.m., a neighbor told police over the phone. An all-clear was reported and the loss was stopped by 3:46 p.m. logs said.
