How To Get Rid Of Christmas Trees In Waukesha
Real holiday trees will be picked up by the curb for the month of January.
WAUKESHA, WI—The City of Waukesha Department of Public Works will pick up holiday trees set out at the curb in the month of January. There is not a set route schedule, crews will pick them up as they see them.
The pickup schedule depends on time and other circumstances – plowing and other projects may take priority, the city said.
Residents may set out real holiday trees only and no wreaths. Trees must be free of lighting, decorations, tree stands or any other object. It should not be in bags, twine or netting.
Drop-Off Center: Residents may also bring their trees to the Drop-Off Center, located at 750 Sentry Dr. on Saturdays from 8 a.m.– 4 p.m. for no charge during the month of January, the city said.
