WAUKESHA, WI — A man was left in critical condition and had to be airlifted to a hospital after a motorcycle crash near Madison Street and Kilps Drive Tuesday evening, according to Waukesha police.
The motorcycle was driving west on Madison Street from Grandview when it crashed into the back of an SUV that was headed the same direction just before 8:30 p.m., police said. The two people who were in the SUV were not injured but first responders found the 32-year-old motorcyclist laying in the roadway, police said.
Authorites said speed may have been a factor in the crash. The motorcyclist was brought to Froedtert Hospital as his injuries were life-threatening, according to police. On Wednesday morning police said the man was in the hospital but no updates on his condition were immediately available.
