Man Fatally Stabbed On Bus, 1 Arrested In Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI—A 31-year-old Greyhound passenger was fatally stabbed by another passenger on Thursday night, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.

The stabbing happened on a Greyhound bus in Pewaukee, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities responded to a parking lot near Point Burger Bar in the City of Pewaukee for a 31-year-old man who was not breathing with an apparent wound to his neck, the sheriff’s office said.

The victim was a passenger on a Greyhound Bus, the sheriff’s office said.

The sheriff’s office said it appears the victim was attacked on the bus by another man.
Other passengers provided medical treatment to the victim until the authorities arrived but the man died at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.

The man accused in the stabbing was taken into custody at the scene. This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no remaining threat to the community, the sheriff’s office said.
The incident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
