Man Points Gun At Driver During Waukesha Road Rage Incident: Police

A man received a citation after a parking lot road rage incident, police logs showed.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police cited a man who pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage incident in the northern part of the city on Tuesday, police logs showed.

Police gave the citation for disorderly conduct, after the man was identified through surveillance video after the incident, Waukesha police Captain Dan Baumann told Patch.

The man stopped his car on Silvernail Road near N. Grandview Boulevard and then drove to the parking lot of a nearby business around 4:01 p.m., police logs showed.

The other driver followed the man into the parking lot, in the 2700 block of N. Grandview Boulevard, and got out to confront him, Waukesha Police Department logs showed.

The man then pointed a gun at the other driver, police said.

The driver told police they had a gun in their car as well, but didn't do anything with it, police logs showed. Multiple officers were called to the parking lot and held the man at gunpoint before taking him into custody around 4:09 p.m.
