'More Than A Dozen' Waukesha High School Students Sick After Prom
A Waukesha high school had several reports of students who experienced vomiting and diarrhea after the prom dance, school officials said.
WAUKESHA, WI — Prom dinner may have ties to more than a dozen students at a Waukesha high school getting sick over the weekend, the principal of Waukesha North High School announced Wednesday.
More than 12 students reported having gastrointestinal issues like vomiting and diarrhea after attending prom on Saturday, principal Kristin Higgins said in a letter to parents Thursday.
Not all of the cases reported link back to prom, but more than a dozen students who went said they were having gastrointestinal problems on Wednesday, Higgins said.
