New COVID-19 Test Site Opening In Waukesha Delayed

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI— A new community testing site's opening in Waukesha has been delayed.

Waukesha County Public Health announced the Rx Rapid Testing / Bridge Diagnostics site at N1400 Westwood Dr. is now anticipated to open Monday.

Waukesha County Public Health and Waukesha County Emergency Management announced new COVID-19 testing sites. It is expected the demand for testing will increase as the flu and holiday season approaches, the county said.

Accelerated Clinical Labs opened a temporary drive-through testing site in the Dairy Barn at the Waukesha County Expo Center, 1000 Northview Road. The COVID-19 testing site will be open Mondays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The site will be closed when the 300-tests-per-day maximum is reached. No appointment is required to get a test, though online preregistration is encouraged, the county said.

Summit Clinical Labs opened another testing location at N96W17490 County Line Road in Germantown, near the north boarder of Waukesha County. The Delafield and New Berlin sites remain open.
