Nobody Hurt After Firefighters Respond To Waukesha Apartment Fire
Residents had to evacuate an apartment building in the central part of the city after a small fire broke out.
WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha Fire Department responded to a small fire that broke out at an apartment building in the central part of the city on Wednesday.
No one was injured and firefighters extinguished a small fire on the outside of a large apartment building at 157 3rd St., the fire department said in a statement. Fire crews were dispatched around 1:22 p.m.
The residents inside of the building were all able to evacuate when the fire started, fire officials said.

Fire officials are still trying to figure out the cause of the fire, but the estimated damage was $3,000, officials said. No one was displaced by the fire, officials added.
