WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to two fights, a 5-year-old found wandering by train tracks and an arrest warrant involving a Humvee, police logs showed.

Police Use Humvee While Arresting Man

Officers used a Humvee and called for a K-9 unit when they arrested a Waukesha man on the 1200 block of W. Summit Avenue on Thursday morning, police logs showed.

The man had several criminal charges against him in Shawano County, including first-degree sexual assault, court records showed.

The event wasn't a tactical situation, but the man had a warrant for his arrest, Waukesha police captain Dan Baumann told Patch. Nobody was hurt during the arrest.

Pepper Spray Used After Fight, Fight In Walmart

Police arrested a man after responding to a fight on the 200 block of Arcadian Avenue on Thursday, police logs showed. Officers pepper sprayed the man after he ran down the street and through some apartments.

Several people were involved in a fight in the infant clothing department at Walmart at 2000 S. West Ave., police logs showed. The people fighting at Walmart were arguing with staff around 12:25 p.m.

5-Year-Old Found By Train Tracks

A resident found a 5-year-old boy walking by train tracks alone near N. Hartwell Avenue and E. Main Street, police logs showed. The boy had only a shirt on and was with a dog that ran off.

Police called the boy's mother, who told them her son had a habit of wandering off, police logs showed. Officers found the boy was autistic and nonverbal, and he had a bracelet with his contact information.
