Waukesha County Wallet Theft Leads To $5,000 In Charges
A woman removed a wallet from a shopper's purse then used stolen credit cards at Sam's Club in Milwaukee and Dick's Sporting Goods in Tosa.
WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI— The Menomonee Falls Police Department is investigating a wallet theft that occurred on Metro Market on County Line Road Thursday, according to a Wisconsin Crime Alert notice.
A woman removed the wallet from a shopper’s purse then used stolen credit cards from the wallet at Sam’s Club in Milwaukee and Dick’s Sporting Goods in Wauwatosa.
The total fraudulent charges were for amounts totaling over $5,000, the notice said.
