Waukesha Man Turns Self In After Running From Crash: Police
Police say a driver knocked a light pole over early Sunday, and ran from police. He later turned himself in.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukehsa man turned himself in after police say he crashed into a light pole on W. Sunset Drive over the weekend.
According to Waukesha police call logs, police were sent to the intersection of Chapman Drive and W. Sunset Drive just after 3 a.m. Sunday on a report that a driver knocked over a light pole in a crash.
Police told Waukesha Patch that the driver, a man in his mid 20s, ran from the scene of the crash, and later turned himself in.

According to call logs, police initially spotted the man, but he ran into a neighborhood and jumped a number of residential fences to initially evade police.
Police said the car's airbag was deployed and there were no major injuries reported as a result of the crash.
