Waukesha Sheriff Cancels Number Of Community Activities
During the Coronavirus pandemic, the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office continues to handle calls for service without interruptions.

WAUKESHA, WI — As the events surrounding the new coronavirus public health emergency continue, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office along with the Waukesha County Jail have made some changes and added protections for jail staff.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office is providing first responders with personal protective
equipment (PPE), this includes gloves, P100 masks, hand sanitizers and disinfectant spray.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office continues to handle
calls for service without interruptions.

The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office has temporarily suspended the following activities:
- Courtesy preliminary breath tests (PBT’s) for court services and Wisconsin Community Services
- Citizen ride-alongs
- Community appearances and presentations
- Citizens academy
- Coffee with a cop
- CCW classes
- Eddie the Eagle GunSafe Program.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office will inform the public when these programs are going to resume.
