Driver Killed In Wauwatosa Crash May Have Fallen Asleep: Police

WAUWATOSA, WI— A man who police say may have fallen asleep at the wheel was killed in a crash in Wauwatosa early Friday morning. Police said the man was not wearing a seatbelt.

The car hit two traffic standards and a tree before coming to a stop near North Mayfair Road and West North Avenue, police said.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was dispatched after the crash. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted in the investigation.
