Have You Seen This?: Wauwatosa on YouTube

Wauwatosa is a diverse community, and that spirit is reflected through videos uploaded to YouTube by citizen journalists, artists and just regular folks. Here’s a sampling of what was uploaded in the first part of the 2012 summer:

Certainly, the linchpin of any community summer is the local Fourth of July celebration. It was brutally hot to see in person, but view some highlights from the comfort of your desk. User VinceVitrano, the WTMJ-TV host, presents an in-parade perspective while user nicole53226 brings you a closer look at the Dancing Grannies. Finally, a WTMJ-TV reporter filed an official report from the Hart Park fireworks.

The arts in Tosa

This is pretty impressive. Young Kailon McGhee handles lead guitar and vocals on a rendition of “American Woman” at on Blue Mound Road. It’s unclear how old he is, but it’s good work regardless.

Anthony Carroll, a senior-to-be at , is one of two basketball players featured in this AAU video produced by mwballersTV. This is from a tournament in California. Carroll’s highlights are in the second half of the video.
