Republican Winner In State Assembly 14 Race Has Car Stolen

Bonnie Lee, who won the Republican nomination, woke up to news that her car was stolen in Wauwatosa.

WAUWATOSA, WI— Bonnie Lee, who won the Republican nomination for Wisconsin State Assembly District 14 on Tuesday, had an unpleasant surprise following her victory.

According to her official Facebook page, Lee woke up Wednesday morning to find her car stolen from her driveway.

"I'm so grateful for the prompt response of the Wauwatosa Police Department. We just received word that they’ve already located it and are bringing it back this way. Thanks WPD," the post said.

Wauwatosa Police haven't confirmed the details of the car theft.

Lee hasn't responded to a request for comment from Patch as of Wednesday afternoon.

Three challengers faced offin Tuesday's primary for the Republican nomination for Wisconsin State Assembly District 14. The district includes portions of the cities of Brookfield, Milwaukee and Wauwatosa.

Lee was victorious over her opponents Linda Boucher and Steven Shevey.
