Voting Under Way In Wauwatosa: Everything To Know
Everything you need to know about voting in Wauwatosa for the election Nov. 3.
WAUWATOSA, WI—Voters in Wisconsin will be headed to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the 2020 general election.
In addition to the presidential and congressional races, there are several key races at the state and local level. Voting will be different this year thanks to rules approved to expand early and mail-in voting in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
On My Vote WI: myvote.wi.gov you can check the status of your voter registration and look at who is on your ballot. Make sure you know the acceptable forms of identification required in Wisconsin.
How Can I Vote?
Ballots must be returned by Election Day in order to be counted. There are ballot drop-off boxes (Drive up to City Hall or the Muellner Building in Hart Park and drop off your ballot). Mailing a ballot is not recommended at this point.

If you still have your ballot on Election Day, it may be returned in person to your polling location by 8 p.m. unless they live in a municipality that uses a central count facility for absentee ballots. In that case, the ballots will have instructions for voters on where they can be dropped off or they can contact their municipal clerk for that information.
Your voting location is assigned based upon your Wauwatosa street address. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To determine your correct voting location, please check the State of Wisconsin's My Vote website; you may also email the City Clerk's Office, call (414) 479-8921, or view the District/Ward Map.
People can still vote in-person if they choose not to use their absentee ballots.
