2 Arrested For Underage Drinking While Bicycling: Police

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay say they arrested two people for underage drinking after they were caught on their bicycles.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, an officer on patrol in the neighborhood of N. Wildwood Ave. and E. Fairmount Ave. just after 1 a.m. on May 1 stopped stopped two men who were riding their bicycles.

Police said one rider was 20 years old and the other was 19 years old, and were stopped by police for not having bicycle lights or reflectors.

According to police, the two were arrested on suspicion of illegally consuming alcohol, were issued citations. The two were later released to family members.
