2 Home Break-Ins Reported This Week

Police in Whitefish Bay say two homes were broken into this week, and have made one arrest.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI β€” Police in Whitefish Bay say two homes were broken into this week, and have made one arrest.

According to the Whitefish Bay police department, over the past two nights, several homes in Whitefish Bay were entered. Some of the homes were entered through unlocked doors.

Police said one person involved was arrested. Police are continuing their investigation to determine the identity of others involved.

Police are urging homeowners to make sure their homes and vehicles are locked, and to leave exterior lights on at night.

"Video surveillance systems and video doorbells work as crime deterrents and can be used to assist in identification and apprehension of those involved," police said in a statement on Tuesday. "If you see something suspicious please contact the Whitefish Bay Police Department immediately by dialing 911."
