Accidental 911 Call Leads Police To Underage Drinkers

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — An accidental 911 call led police to four people who were underage drinking last week.

According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, officers were sent to the 5900 block of N. Shore Drive just before 11 p.m. on Thursday on a report of a person who dialed 911 and then hung up.

Police said the dispatcher heard voices and the sound of waves over the 911 call. When officers received the GPS coordinates of the cell phone, they went to the scene and found four Whitefish Bay 20-year-olds who were drinking.
