After Scare, Police Tell Photographer To Get Permission First
Police say they were sent to a Whitefish Bay school last week after multiple people said a person was taking pictures of children.

WHITEFISH BAY, WI — Police in Whitefish Bay told a professional photographer to not take pictures on school property unless he gets permission from school officials after a scare last week.
According to Whitefish Bay police call logs, police were sent to Holy Family Parish School, 4849 N. Wildwood Ave. after a school official reported seeing a man in his 50s taking pictures of children while they were playing outside.
When police checked the area, they didn't see anybody, according to call logs.

According to police, at 5 p.m., an area resident called police, and reported that she also saw a man taking pictures of the children at Holy Family Parish School around 03:30 p.m. that day.
Police said the resident recognized him. When police went over to the photographer's house, they learned the man was a professional photographer and was just taking pictures of the children's backpacks lined up against the fence.

According to police, the man was instructed to remain off of school property and not take photographs near the children unless he is granted permission.
