New Aquatics Specialist Hired at the J

Alex Nicoud has been hired as Aquatics Specialist at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center (the J).

A Port Washington native, Alex has been at the J for over two years teaching group and private swim lessons, lifeguarding , coaching the J’s  fall and winter swim teams as well as masters swim  and triathlon training classes.  For the past five summers Alex has worked as the Aquatics Director for Gardner Dam Scout Camp in White Lake, WI.  

Alex is a certified BSA Aquatics Instructor which is the highest certification given by the Boys Scouts of America, which allows for the training and implementation for any BSA staff and/or program. This past winter, Alex was the assistant varsity swim coach at Port Washington High School where he designed workouts to improve technique and endurance.
